Additional $90 Tiers open (Artbook with Mini Prints and Original Sketch)
about 10 years ago – Fri, Mar 04, 2016 at 08:46:35 AM

Hey guys,

When we first created the Kickstarter Tiers, Justin had a great idea to include a limited amount of books with an original sketch on the inside cover.  We priced it out and then figured that if he drew 50 sketches, it would likely take him at least 25 hours to complete.  That is a good chunk of time, so it made sense to limit it to 50.  With as many projects as Justin has, it's hard to focus his time solely on one project in a given week.

Well, here we are day 2 of the campaign and those have been bought up REAL fast. Talking with Justin, we've come up with a solution.  We have created a second $90 Tier with just 25 more original sketch copies becoming available.  The caveat here will be that these will be drawn after the previous 50 have been drawn and sent out.  We appreciate everyone's emails expressing sadness that they feel they missed out on a great opportunity, hopefully this extra allotment can be picked up by Justin's Fans out there.  =)

If you would like to change your pledge from a lower tier to this new tier, just select "Manage Pledge" from the main page (if logged in) and you can upgrade your pledge to this new level while available.

Thank you all for your support!

Fully Funded in about 8 hours!

Hey all,

We assumed that the fans of Justin Hillgrove would jump all over this project and that we would be funded, but we had no idea it would happen this fast!

From Justin:

Just a quick thank you for supporting my project: “Imps And Monsters: Ten Years Of Art By Justin Hillgrove”. It has already been successfully funded in less than a day - woohoo!  I am so grateful to have so many people believe in and supporting me and my work - it is humbling and overwhelming, so thank you. I am excited that we will be able to reach for some of the stretch goals I have planned, the first of which is making the books that you as project backers will receive, a little more awesome. There’s a few other fun things I have planned as well so again, thank you and share share share!

The Stretch Goal he references is of course the $15,000 goal to add a foil Stamped Dust Jacket and a Sewn-In Bookmark Ribbon to the book along with having them all signed and numbered.  Around that goal amount we are able to get a small break on the cost of the books per unit so we can instead just upgrade all books for every backer giving the Artbook an awesome look with some extra utility.

If you are reading this via email, you helped us get funded likely because you are a huge Justin Hillgrove fan.  THANK YOU!  Please help us get the word out and let people know why you decided to hit that pledge button.

Thank you for your support!
